This is my impression of the Vida Joven Farm/ Camp Mil Flores painted in the style of Nicaraguan Primitive Art. In this style nature is portrayed lovingly with much detail and vivid colors. Some of the plants are imaginary, but most are based on the real flowers and foliage from Santa Lastenias area - Calla lilies, Tiger lilies, Malinche or Flamboyant tree, or Royal Poinciana tree. The reflections on the water show the canoe and the Calla lilies and reflect the peacefulness of the tropical mountain paradise. Coffee trees are in the distance, shaded by Banana trees. The vivid colors are toned down by the predominance of blues and greens. The fauna that we have there is represented by an ever watchful owl. I wrote this poem..........................LETTING GO
Come into the quiet,
the golden sparkling stream.
Let your boat wind gently - like
in an lovely dream.
Lift your eyes into the light
shining from the eyes of One who waits
just 'round the bend...
