From a photo by Alex Burrows, I painted this expressive scene of a Nicaraguan Mother and her young son. The mother is thoughtful, the son smiling at the viewer, his head resting on his mother's shoulder, their hands tenderly touching, This could also be a grandmother, since many single mothers leave the country to work, and the children develop closer relationships with their grandmother. i wrote the following poem......................................LOVE�S TRANSFUSIONS
Jesus Speaks to my Heart:
As you are still and listen to My voice,
you know what is good and right and true
and noble and lovely
and what will have a good report to give.
As you snuggle
that is by faith we huddle,
and you receive
instructions that relieve.
Your mind clear,
free from fear.
Instead of factions,
loving actions.
Instead of confusions,
love�s transfusions.
Instead of an angry word,
through you My song is he...
