Artist's Description
The design is by artist and founder of The Way, Kiko Arguello. The encaustic painting is done on a round of wood sliced from a fallen tree in front of the chapel of the Divine Child in the north Nicaragua mountains. Based on the ancient Russian icons of Andrea Rublev, the message is a call for Christians to live together in community like the sacred family of Nazareth.
