The Fruit Seller Lady is typically dressed in ruffled lacy apron and her brown face wreathed in smiles for the camera. She is there every day, in sun or shade, on the Matagalpa, Nicaragua street with her baskets of fruit and candies for sale. I have to step off the sidewalk to pass, but she always has a friendly greeting.
