From my photo of the family of our Nicaraguan daughter-in-law, Nohelia, one Christmas Eve, I painted her grandmother, Dona Geronima and other family members. They were singing and formed such a warm and happy group that I wanted to focus on it more by painting the scene. ....I wrote the following poem:.............................OTHERS IN THE CIRCLE
Jesus Speaks to my heart:
You pour out your heart in many ways �
Let those aches and anguishes be distilled,
purified into delicious, refreshing words
and pictures that speak:
Health, and Wisdom, and Joy, and Peace
to all who come into your Circle of Quiet.
This is the other side �
You come to Me � into My Circle and receive.
Others come into Your Circle and receive.
This is the most precious gift
and a readiness to PRAY: in other words,
directly join those three circles �
two or three together,
I AM there.
