Description
Blue trees were the imaginary part of the landscape overlook at Santa Inez, near the Vida Joven Farm/camp, near Jinotega, Nicaragua, Central America. The mountains in the distance often seem smoky blue like our mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina, hazy and soft. But the clouds here are most likely from the volcano in distant Leon.
I wrote a poem..........................................................................BRIGHT COURAGE
Jesus speaks to my heart:
Come into the quiet, I heard,
the still circle of light
spiraling upward and inward
like swallows in flight.
There is rest in my wings, the prize
of peace, after turbulent night.
I have heard your raucous cries,
and will do what is right.
Peace be still engaging,
I speak to your soul
though conflicts are raging
you cannot console.
There is undesirable end
of every digression,
yet in My hands can bend
into a bright lesson
My Reflection:
Upward and inward, receptive,
soaring we meet.
Every imagination captive at Jesus feet.
No more striving in gut wrenching pain.
Only the joy of loving, turning it all to gain.
Jesus speaks to my heart:
I give you courage bright
to face this new day,
to overcome, and fresh delight
found in each new gift in the way.

You...have crowned him with glory and honor.
