Description
Hand quilted this impressionist quilt depicts a rose garden in full flower. Applique and hand embroidery embellish the rose trellis with vines and butterflies. Sunflowers, blue bells, iris, daffodils, morning glories mingle with ferns and strawberries heighten the color. This is a place of meditation, a garden of peace. Jesus speaks to my heart:
You see again:
My book is open to you to read.
My life is open and available to you to share.
My heart is tender and compassionate,
a healing heart that reaches out to you.
an aching heart that yearns to give,
like a mother with breasts full of milk.
You have heard Me before,
but each caress and kiss
is better than the first.
I guide you gently,
but deal with you sternly
when you are hard of heart, or dull,
or stubbornly rebellious.
Turn, Turn, Turn, Return to Me
and to the very thing you teach –
I am here to communicate,
I am easier to turn off than the TV
I am PEACE and by means of you,
I communicate much needed PEACE to others.
COME into My GARDEN OF PEACE,
let it soak into you.
