The Second Vision of Bernard in Cuapa, Nicaragua was of the Virgin Mary as a small girl, clothed in the simple tattered dress of poverty. Her message was the same, and though Bernard asked her boldly to let others see her, her answer was so firm that Bernard realized she was the same as the first, more transcendent person that he saw in the first apparition. The message was of peace making, of non-violence, and of unity in the family.
