Cutting up silk blouses from used clothing shops, Dona Julia pieced the log cabins patchwork blocks and I arranged and quilted the wall hanging. Rich colors from the Tabernacle: reds, blues, purples and whites predominate, highlighted with golden yellows. I wrote the following poem........................................HOLY SPIRIT NUDGE
Jesus speaks to my heart:
All fears for the future must go –
I am the good shepherd.
When I lead into good pastures,
Sometimes there are tough paths
to get there.
Train your ear to listen
and your body to follow
My Spirit’s nudge,
even to get you out
of life’s comfortable ruts.
Build slowly,
nudge by Holy Spirit nudge,
informed by My will
by that still small voice,
Listen,
I am Whispering.
Follow Me step by step;
turn around every time you sense
you are off track
when you cannot hear that whisper
nor feel that nudge.
